Good start to an awesome bike I purchased this bike for transportation to work, and quickly decided that I would make an awesome bike out of it. The tires are nice on the street with low rolling resistance, but not quite knobby enough for hard off road riding. The forks are about the same, nice for the street, but wouldn't want to take them on anything serious. The wheels were slightly tweeked, but not noticable while going down the road, and the seat was a little hard but got used to it fast. The pedals are nice, and the shifters did not require any adjusting which I liked, but even after proper adjustment of the brakes (procedure can be found on Youtube) the brakes were jurky and pretty much dangerously ineffective, which I found to be uneven thickness of the rear rotor which was easily fixed by replacing them with some other old rotors I had, and I also replaced the plastic brake levers with some better aluminum ones.
